New dangers of sunscreens containing toxic and harmful ingredients, including some causing cancer and hormone effects

For over 7 years I have been warning people on the health dangers and toxicity of sunscreens. I have investigated and written on the ingredients in sunscreens and how they actually INCREASE the risks of skin cancers and melanoma (the most dangerous type) and other health issues.

Sunscreens cause more skin cancers (and other cancers) because of their toxic ingredients which are known to cause cancer, but also due to HOW they work - sunscreens block UV-B light to prevent the skin redness and burning, and prevents production of vitamin D which protects against cancer (!), but this gives you a false sense of security to stay outside in the sun longer to be exposed to more UV-A light, which is the one that causes skin damage and skin cancers...

I personally approached sunscreen manufacturers such as the "Cancer Council" about the ingredients they use in their sunscreens, and the many toxic chemicals, hormone disrupting chemicals (affecting male/female hormones or thyroid function), and known cancer-causing chemicals they use. They denied there was any problem, despite many published studies on the chemicals they use causing these health effects.

So every Spring and Summer I call them out on this, so that people are aware and don't use their dangerous sunscreens. There are much better and safer options available.

Karma might have caught up with the "Cancer Council" in May 2022, when their sunscreens had elevated levels of a cancer-causing chemical (Benzene) in them, and they were forced to make this information public and recall some of their products (TGA, 2022). But they have had these dangerous chemicals in their sunscreens for many years and they did nothing. For example, their "everyday" sunscreens had several known cancer-causing chemicals, AND several hormone-disrupting chemicals, and other toxic chemicals, and some chemicals banned in other countries, in ONE product.

Perhaps as a result of this finding, and perhaps my warnings (I'd like to think so!) the Cancer Council changed the ingredients in some of their products recently in 2022. So I checked out their products and ingredients again, and here it is...

The Cancer Council have so many more products now, mostly with the same toxic ingredients in each product, but some variations too. Their "everyday" sunscreen has one less chemical now, which wasn't one that was known to cause cancer, but did cause neurotoxicity and disruptions to hormones. The "everyday" product still contains 2 cancer-causing chemicals, 2 hormone-disrupting chemicals, and one being damaging the environment or wildlife.

I investigated some of their other sunscreens too, including their "ultra" and "kids" products. The "ultra" product has many more chemicals than the "everyday" product, and more toxic too, with 3 cancer-causing chemicals, 3 hormone-disrupting chemicals, and 3 which are toxic to the environment and wildlife.

The Cancer Council's "kids" product has the same number of chemicals as the "ultra" product, with most being the same, and containing 2 cancer-causing chemicals, 2 hormone-disrupting chemicals, but 3 which are toxic to the environment or wildlife. If you had children, would you really put this on them now?

The Cancer Council is well named isn't it... adding cancer-causing chemicals to their products which are supposed to prevent cancer, but actually causing it instead.

This article shows the importance of always checking the ingredients and chemicals not just in your foods, but what you put on your skin. What you put on your skin is typically absorbed into your body.

Luckily there are better and safer ways to prevent skin cancers, without the avoidance of healthy sun exposure that you need for vitamin D and other health benefits, and without being exposed to toxic and harmful chemicals.

Stay healthy!

ABS data shows 75% drop in birth rates since COVID-19 vaccines being approved and recommended for pregnant women

One of the most controversial and tragic in all of the events over the past 3 years, despite assurances of the so-called health experts and government officials, is the effects of the "CV-19 carrot" (the so-called "prevention/treatment") on pregnant women and foetuses.

In 2021 I reported on a CDC-funded study which showed an extremely high rate of miscarriages and stillbirths in pregnant women who had the mRNA shots, at approximately 82% (Shimabukuro et al., 2021). But the authors of the study ignored the data and still claimed the carrots were perfectly safe! An independent study reviewed their data some months later and reported issues with their data and explicitly concluded an 82-92% pregnancy loss that was ignored in the original study (Brock & Thornley, 2021). This finding was dismissed by the mRNA carrot manufacturers, and medical professionals, and any posts warning people on this (including mine) were fact-checked as "false" by the social media platforms, and anyone posting such information were censored and thrown in FB jail.

Given a bit more time and the truth always comes out, or becomes harder to hide...

The most current statistics of birth rates from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), shows the tragic results of the mRNA carrots that were mandated/forced/coerced to pregnant women, despite no safety testing every being done, as pregnant women are not allowed to be used in medical trials.

Australias's birth rates have been steadily increasing from 18,000-20,000 in 1975 to approximately 22,000-25,000 in 2019-2020. Until the mRNA carrots were introduced in February 2021... (ABS, 2022).

Since May 2021, being 3 months from the start of the carrot program, the birth rates have dropped EVERY MONTH from 25,669 to just over 23,000 in October 2021... to just over 18,000 in November 2021, the lowest since well before 1975...

To just 6,659 in December 2021.

That's an approximately 75% DROP in birth rates in 6 months, or in just 10 months since the carrots were introduced, which is coincidentally the same as the duration of a human pregnancy at approximately 40 weeks or 10 months.

The data is not just about the drop in birth rates, but the approximate 20,000 babies who died from the the effects of the mRNA carrots injected during pregnancy.

The 2022 ABS data has not yet been released.

I heard of so many anecdotal stories of mothers losing their babies in pregnancy, from spontaneous abortions and miscarriages in 2021 and 2022. But some people believe that anecdotal evidence bears no scientific merit, but anecdotal evidence is ALWAYS seen first, before published studies. In new situations, anecdotal evidence MUST always be seen as the highest form of scientific evidence.

So it appears that the abovementioned 2 studies on the dangers of the carrots in pregnant women were tragically right. The heads of some companies, health officials, employers and others responsible, need to be held accountable for this, with compensation for the women affected, fines for the companies and directors, and perhaps even jail time for health officials who said the carrots were "safe and effective".

Stay healthy.

TGA warns of vitamin B6 causing peripheral neuropathy

14/11/2022

On October 4th 2022, Australia's medicines regulator, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) announced that due to an increase in adverse events reports on products containing vitamin B6, that the recommended maximum dose of vitamin B6 in supplements is being reduced, and products containing vitamin B6 now need to show a warning on the label that vitamin B6 can cause peripheral neuropathy symptoms (TGA, 2022).

The TGA has updated their regulations so that all products containing a daily dose of vitamin B6 above 10 mg require a warning about peripheral neuropathy. To limit exposure to excessive doses, the maximum permitted daily dose of vitamin B6 in products has also been reduced from 200 mg to 100 mg for adults, with lower daily dose limits in place for children depending on their age.

Neuropathy is a diagnosis from nerve damage leads to feelings of burning, pain, weakness, numbness or tingling in one or more parts of the body. Peripheral neuropathy relates to nerve damage which affects the extremities of the body, typically the hands and feet.

Peripheral neuropathy can also occur from other causes, including a vitamin B12 deficiency, autoimmune conditions, and nerve damage from diabetes conditions. If you experience these symptoms, stop taking any supplement products or combinations which have vitamin B6 as "pyridoxine hydrochloride", and see your practitioner as soon as possible.

Vitamin B6 is an essential nutrient, and in foods, it does not cause peripheral neuropathy, partly as foods contain other nutrients which negate the effects of B6 to prevent the neuropathy, and partly as the form of vitamin B6 in most supplements is the synthetic/artificial form of vitamin B6 without the other nutrients to prevent the neuropathy...

Peripheral neuropathy is, however, typically associated with a DEFICIENCY of vitamin B6! But it is also alleged that an excess of B6 (ie, toxicity) can also cause the peripheral neuropathy. The TGA based their decision on many adverse reports from people taking vitamin B6 supplements and having elevated B6 levels in their blood tests. A good practitioner with knowledge of nutrition and blood tests will know that you never test for vitamin B6 levels as it's such an inaccurate test and should never be relied on as an accurate marker of B6 status...

Some supplement products contain both the inactive form of vitamin B6 as pyridoxine hydrochloride together with the active form, called P5P. I also know from published studies that show that if taken together, the inactive B6 will inhibit the body's use of P5P, and hence causing the high levels of B6 and at the same time causing a functional deficiency of vitamin B6, which in turn is causing the peripheral neuropathy.

Vitamin B6 in supplements, especially the inactive form of pyridoxine hydrochloride, should never be taken on its own, or without the other B-vitamins as these balance the B6 and prevent the neuropathy. However, many retail multi-vitamin products or B-complex products, will have the inactive form of B6 and other poor B vitamins and these can also cause neuropathy if taken long-term. Products containing both pyridoxine hydrochloride and P5P should also be avoided. I have not seen any peripheral neuropathy from the active form of B6, being P5P.

There are ways to prevent peripheral neuropathy, depending on the causes of it, as there are causes other than being from vitamin B6. There are also ways to reverse peripheral neuropathy. Stopping any supplement products with pyridoxine hydrochloride is the first step. Then see me for more advice on how to stop the neuropathy symptoms and reverse them!

Stay healthy!

Heart disease sign to look out for in self, friends and family

14/11/2022

Heart disease is the largest cause of mortality in men and women in Western countries. There are are many different types of heart disease, many signs of heart disease, and many possible tests to check for these conditions. Early diagnosis is essential for getting a treatment to reduce the risks of mortality. But sadly all too often, those with higher risks of heart disease don't get tests done regularly to find the warning signs and make the preventative treatments required.

But there are some less well known physical signs of heart disease risk, which should perhaps become more well known by family members and friends, in order to recommend or persuade those with the risk factors to seek professional help with testing, diagnosis and treatment. The physical sign, that being externally visible, even if the person doesn't feel unhealthy, is called Frank's sign, or diagonal earlobe crease (Więckowski, Gallina, Surdacki & Chyrchel, 2021).

While the earlobe crease is a little known and seldom-used, it is quick and non-invasive and easy to interpret and should be used according to the referenced study and others.
These studies suggest that the earlobe crease is a sign of chronic hypoxia (low oxygen levels), possibly from atherosclerosis (plaques in the major arteries which can reduce blood flow) and low oxygen supply to the cells and tissues.

The referenced study concluded that the diagnostic accuracy of the earlobe crease is comparable to the traditional electrocardiography (ECG) testing in detecting significant coronary stenosis/blockages and hypoxia. It shouldn't be the only test used, but isn't always a clinically accurate indicator in all cases. But it can give big clues to friends and family to look for this sign and recommend (or persuade) those with this sign to get some proactive testing and treatment if needed.

Medical advice and testing is needed for those with the Frank's earlobe crease, but medical advice does not include finding the root causes of the heart disease, but only to temporarily remove the issue with surgery and "manage" it with medications that cause more symptoms, and not about prevention or stopping the issue coming back.

Natural therapies are more focussed on prevention and finding and fixing the root causes in each person. This is where I can help - if you have this earlobe sign, or know someone who does, please see me for testing advice, and also for root cause analysis and proactive preventative advice and treatments.

Stay healthy!
